Beef meatball with tomato sauce

|Beef meatball with tomato sauce|1 tbsp coconut oil or cooking oil|1 onion, finely chopped|One head of garlic, minced|400g beef mince|1 medium free-range egg|Handful plain flour, for dusting (optional)|1 tsp ground cumin|1tsp brown sugar|1tsp salt|400g can chopped tomatoes|1 tbsp tomato purée
|Put the beef mince into a large bowl. In a small bowl, lightly whisk the egg with a fork, then add to the meat. Season with cumin, salt and mix everything together with your hands, you can use a spoon but the beef will look rounder using your hands.|Divide the mixture evenly into 8 - 12 balls. Sprinkle the flour onto a plate, then roll each meatball in the flour. (optional)
|Put 1 tbsp of the oil into a pan, add the onion and garlic and cook for about 3 minutes until they turn slightly yellow.
Add the meatballs and cook for 5 minutes without moving them.|Carefully turn them over and cook for another 5 minutes.
|Add tomatoes and tomato purée to the pan.
|Cover and cook gently for 25 minutes until the meatballs are cooked.
